Notebook for Women
StyleBook-First notebook
designed for women.
Comes with designer bag.
That has got to be one of the dumbest advertisements I have ever seen. Like women are too dumb to consider more than the "designer" bag when they are choosing a computer? My wife, who uses a PowerBook Lombard, cracked up laughing. Function first, form second, designer bags last...

Well, glad I just sold my copy of Virtual PC for $130 yesterday. :)
On another note, the AI article adds this:
Sometime later this year, Microsoft said it will release its first Universal application, Messenger for Mac 6.0.
Now that's just sad that MS can't get Office universal before 2007. Bet they are pretty sore about Apple's latest cracks against Vista. :(

How do you know? I called to ask and they said they got nothing today as they get no shipments on Sunday.
A guy that I know from the line called me today and said so. He was mad because I told him not to go today because I thought they wouldn't have any also. They may have had some because of late shipments from Saturday. Either way I wouldn't plan on going to wait in line tomorrow morning.

Sounds like you've already done a full restore, but I would try the Network Settings refresh suggested above too.
If that doesn't work, time to take it into the Apple Store. If you don't have Apple Care, see how much a repair will cost. Depending on how desparately you need wifi, it might be worth waiting for an iPhone 5 (September hopefully).

In that case, I'll buy it! I'd much rather buy from someone on here than buy.com, however, I did buy something from them just now as a Christmas present for my brother. However, as he is also a member of the forum, I won't talk about it lest he find out what it is and spoil the surprise.
I'll send you a PM to work out the details.

Go look at Pages; Word's been the "standard" for years and Pages can write Word documents. I'm sure if Lasso, Numbers, Charts, etc. will also be able to save in Excel documents. I believe AppleWorks can, and if this is a step up, and since the world has moved a little more, there should be no problem with Excel and Apple's new application.
Sorry, but Excel running on Windows (and to a lesser extend, Macs) is by far the standard, and for good reason. It runs wonderfully, on fast and horrendously slow computers.
I've been using Google Spreadsheets to some degree, and while it's kinda cool with the whole online thing, it's slow, lags, and not as good as Excel. Nobody's going to go to a class to learn Google Spreadsheets, they're going to learn Excel in school.

I don't even notice the rating, and on the rare chance I do, the negative/positive rating has no bearing on the content of the thread, so in the end I ignore it.
I guess what I'm saying is, that rating doesn't really provide any benefit.

In my experience I just want one source that will familiarize myself with a particular API, just to let me know what's available and the common classes and uses. Then from there it's just a matter of reading the documentation to work with the specific uses I have in mind. For objective-C it was the first few chapters of Hillegass, then for iOS it was the Stanford Courses on iTunes U, and for cocos2d it was this book.
The thing with programming books is that they become outdated pretty quickly, so the documentation is going to be a better place to find information. What I do find useful about programming books is to point me in the right direction to get started. For example with cocos2d I learned the basic building blocks CCNode, CCScene, CCLayer, CCSprite, CCDirector. Then once I knew those classes existed, I knew where to look in the documentation to write my own code.

are you sure that the bluetooth is off. I havent use a bt enabled imac before, but since they dont relaly have to worry about saving energy i would imagine tht its possible that the bt is always on.
No, you can turn it off normally. It's a security problem for some people to leave it on all the time.
Sorry I can't help with your problem though, but you should be able to turn it off.

Incredible numbers. Well deserved.
AT&T sold 3.6, apple says 18.65. Did verizon sell the rest of the ~15 million?
Rest of the world? :D

If the majority of this forum (not adressing or insulting you) would take of their Apple glasses, they would see the reality or at least the potential of the Windows Phone. I love my mac, but I am not biased to some cult.
Pot meet kettle.
We can summarize your post simply as "I own a WP7 device and I love it." (which is great) The rest of it seems to be of the same ilk which criticize others.
