Just an update......... it worked for me in my hotel room !
Unfortunately two issues
It takes anywhere from 1 to 10 tries to make it connect
And
My hotel wireless is too slow to keep a channel without skipping (but that is not the iPads fault)
So thanks for the help by the way !
If the hotel wifi is slow that's probably why it took a few trys to connect. I tried it at a Starbucks and McDonalds WiFi and it worked very well. The channels were clear and didn't skip/freeze.

Wow. Let's hope it looks better than that diagram. Anyways this would be the ultimate iPod (Could be a 4 or 5 inch screen). Of course, the screen needs to be more scratch resistant than previous generations. And they have to bump up the resolution on their iTunes store. But I'd be surprised if we see this anytime soon.
Judging by the size of the fingers, this thing is at least 5x7. :D
If the entire surface of the ipod isn't more scratch resistant than previous generations I probably won't buy one. I have my cell phone in my pocket all day and it is barely scratched after months of daily use. My iPod 5G got those fine scraches on it just from sliding it into the case that *Apple included with the ipod*.

I'm here, they have iPads, supposedly around 200 total (but it was the CLEAR guys who said that so who knows...) and about 16 people in line.
Tickets at 4:30.
Sales at 5.
Good luck.

I have a Time Machine back up from a White MacBook that I sold. I started fresh when I purchased my Unibody MacBook Pro. My question is... is there anyway I can grab some of those files from the old Time Machine backup and put on my new MacBook Pro? Any advice would help. Thanks!

Hmmm... now that you mentioned it, I don't think it has any jumper pins in it. I pulled it from an old Tivo box. What jumper does it need to have if I already have my main drive on SCSI?

It does make me laugh how people went on and on about how the 12" powerbook was the ultimate laptop and coupling it with a 20" display or larger was the ideal way to work... and then the 11MBA comes along and blows the 12" PB away in the specs and portability department, yet people still aren't happy.
I loved my 12" PB and I really feel that this 11MBA is the true replacement. It's much lighter, much thinner and is so much more powerful (plays youtube perfectly compared to the G4). There's also the much better battery, newer software and much longer sleep. It's win-win.

You may be able to hack in your own subview...
Meaning: UITabBar is a subclass of UIView. Therefore, you can add your own subviews.
...or you'll have to roll your own tab bar.
Meaning: You might be able to subclass UITabBar and customize it to meet your specific needs or you could create a whole new custom class that operates similar to a UITabBar but created by you from scratch. For example, RCSwitch (http://osiris.laya.com/projects/rcswitch/) is a customized UISwitch but rather than subclassing UISwitch and extending it, they actually subclassed UIView.

personally I would use that $40 to buy a small bluetooth dongle.... and few cups of starbucks.
This has crossed my mind. I wonder if I'm OCD, though. The thought of that cable being detached, or not having functionality native to the Mini, drives me bonkers. I haven't ruled out a dongle, though.

Apple will release newly designed ACD's along with the newly designed Mac Pro, and since they just released a Mac Pro, I wouldn't think it would be released for maybe another 7 months to a year.
Don't hold your breath. The current ACD's are amazing.

Steve specifically said on the keynote that it was iTunes purchased tracks only. I don't know if it works 2-way with iTunes tracks, though.
Confirmed here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/sync/transfer.html only purchased tracks.

That was the first thing I thought of! :D
He has since got it removed - I can understand maybe a level of enthusiasm but really, he should have at least waited for it to take off (had some success) and asked himself whether it is wise to tattoo a logo on himself.

Alternative that works for both factors and character vectors:

I think he means you can add a new entry into 1Password with your serial numbers etc.. Not to archive email.
You can drag the email with serial number into the 1Password entry and it will store that email for reference.
It's not for archiving all emails, but it's nice to be able to keep the original email with your 1Password entry.

I heard they may will do reservation system like they did with iphone. not sure if its true or not.
am very curious if we have to do overnight, or just come in the morning and wait.
I'm sure they'll to reservations, just like the original iPad.
For some reason Apple Retail Stores will not sell an iPad 2 until 5:00 PM on March 11. So people may not stay the night, however that was always half the fun.

I mean, I am not looking for any job. I want to gain some experience over the summer vacation, since I'll be staying here most likely, and want to do something productive.
