But I stand by Apple for now, that they do have some "bigger" features they just aren't showing us....
What's the next logical step in a computer interface? I used to say "Computer, show me the money" to open Quicken back in pre-OS X days. More of a gimmick than anything else, but imagine if the Finder and maybe even other apps became "speakable."
Me: "Check mail"
Computer: "You have nine new messages. Would you like me to read them?"
Me: "No, thanks."
(clicks on an email, reads message)
Me: "Reply to this message"
Computer: "Type or speak?
Me: "Type"

Me: "Computer, I'd like to add a photo of the kids to this email."
Computer: "iphoto has 6,813 pictures of the kids, which one would you like?"
Me: "One from the birthday party last week."
Computer: (a strip from iphoto appears) "Here are 23 from last week. I've highlighted the one where your wife fixed the red eye. Is that the one you want?"
Me: "Yes, that will be fine."
Computer adds the picture to stationery in the email, other pictures go away.
Me: "Send the email"
Me: "...and order me a pizza."
This kind of thing can't be too far off. A 75 mhz Performa could do it in a rudimentary way. Imagine what a modern Mac may be able to do. "Speakeasy" has a nice ring to it.

I live in Delaware and work in Philly and I get full 3g bars all the time with no dropped calls.
But I went to NYC today at the New York game conference and I could barely even get a edge signal! My buddies iPhone would not work either. Turns out 99% of the people at the event had iPhones and we all had the same problem
Soon as we left NYC we got full 3G bars again n

I don't want to burst your bubble but Apple sell their tracks in a lossy format. Apple's format for iTunes purcases is a different beast to Flac.
Yeah--open mouth insert foot--you know what they say about assumptions. Oh well, still a better bit rate so I guess I'll just be satisfied with that--or maybe I'll just save a bit of money at Amazon. Thanks for pointing out my poor assumptions. :o

Maybe the iPhone 4 looking iPhone 5 will come out as a 4S and something like this will be the iPhone 5...? It does look pretty good, but not sure if it could really be made this thin as the A5 chip is just as power consuming as the A4 (as has been stated). If that actually is what the iPhone 5 will look like, I'll buy it for sure.

Not to be nit-picky, but "death grip" was "Antennagate" -- what's the "etc" part you mean? It's like you wanted to create a list of Apple problems, so you mentioned the one biggee TWO DIFFERNT WAYS and then stuck on "etc" to make is seem like oddles and oddles of problems ... 9 To 5 Mac's discovery is quite interesting as it shows that this is a recent and updated iPhone with an A5, rather then an old iPhone 4. Maybe the new iPhone 5 will bring some more carriers for the Americans, help slow the loss to Android?
That is my thinking as well. There has to be increasing pressure on Apple from Android, the stats show it.

Yup, believe me i am looking elsewhere for a lower price if possible, and if not i am going to go to my friend that works at nordstroms and have her buy it for me, and if that doesnt happen, i am just going to by them. I have one of the shirts already and i get tons of comments on them.

I am amazed as to why we have not seen a single "imac 2011 leak" ... pics of the new imac .. pics of the box ? etc like with the iphones lol .... i'm going to be seriously depressed if i go to apple.com/uk tomorrow and still see that white iphone on there ... seriously
Unless the form factor of any given product in the Macintosh line is radically different or re-designed, leaked pictures of such products are boring and uninteresting.
Plus the iPhones are still the "New, hot thing" in Apple-land, so even a millimeter's difference in the case is a big deal.

Quit trying to shuffle responsibility off on someone else for your mental shortcomings. Sure, people make mistakes, that's life. But to suggest that Apple guard you from your own idiocy - seriously? If it has any features like Pandora or Last.fm i'll be very interested... albeit I already have those two for free... As long as the 'finding new music' feature is better than the iTunes Mini store, which is down right bad. Bring on a pandora like stream but with intergrated purchasing features, so that you can in a way try before you buy, as well as find more music.

How am i a geek. I need to be able to keep files on my phone like word docs that I can access at any computer. I prefer a Full keyboard and T-mo sucks many people have these same wants and needs out of a smart phone.
First of all, you can do that on an iPhone already. There are any number of ways to do that. Full keyboard? Yeah, tons of people want those... that's why they're selling so well!

Sometimes. The little squirt just got home from the vet. I took him outside and he ran around a lot. So brought him back in and he went right over to the TV and pooped and peed. Ugh. 9/10 he is using the pads or outside but that 1/10 is making my house smell. Thank goodness for Resolve for Pets.
I must say, I'm blessed with a really good little guy. He goes out of his way to get to the pad. I can't ask for better.

I get about the same drop rate or worse in the DC Metro area. I also have friends on AT&T that have their text messages go to the wrong person. Thinking seriously of getting a Verizon BB and an iPod Touch to replace my iPhone. :(:(:( Sorry :apple:

Why did you buy XCode, all you needed to have done was go to developers.apple.com and sign up for a free Dev account, once there, just download the older version of XCode (v3.2.5) and install. The older version works fine and will enable the Gestures, you only need to buy and download the newest version of XCode if your an actual Developer, then you would want to have the latest version for developing purposes.
