I got unit to flash blinking folder icon, I have tried to do new install of os, gets thru one disk if lucky, then poof! Any help would be greatly taken. Any offers to buy or fix would be nice as well! Thank You Community!!!

If one buys a $999 laptop, why would they give away a $499 iPad with it? That's half the price of the laptop and over double what they have done in the past. I don't see it happening, I'd be happy to be proven wrong though. I'd pick up a MacBook if they were giving away a free iPad with it.

We noticed this misalignment during the upgrade. It's on our list of tweaks to work on.

No, I'm pretty sure Apple canceled the Zune. :D
Or you could say Nokia...
The Zune will just live on in Windows Mobile Phones and Nokia will be leading the front.
Zunes with phone capabilities...

I've noticed that these now don't work with USB DVD drives for the Bootcamp thing. Like you said this is a REAL drag for the Optibay crowd.
But as far as your MS issues go, try using Winclone to make an image of Bootcamp and experiment. Sometimes these things can be inexpicable.

I don't like it because it would require 2 hands to use.
I'll think, it will be a Creative video device that Apple manufactures. Windows users will like that stupid UI. Because they don't like the future video iPod, they'll by this thing like grazy and Apple gets the money.
That is the 200 million settlement.
My 2 cents :D

Where is Geohot? Thats what we need.
+1 He's going to need something to fill his time now right? Might as well be hacking Apple products now.

Yeah, sorry. Those too.:)
What do you mean? Are you talking about Leopard? Leopard will work with Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, PPC, probably everything back to about a 1997 model imac.
However Leopard will only provide 64 bit support to 64 bit capable chips, that would be G5 PPC and Core 2 Duo only.

Have you tried looking here (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=581552). I guess it all depends on what model you have.

I love it all. Except the loss of ratings. So, I rate this story "negative". ;)

i think it would be great if apple made it easy for others to make their own storefront within the apple itunes store.
i.e. Indie labels could set up within the online store and use the DRM...
the goal is to provide more content to consumers without destroying the experience.

I loved the Blue Album, but the other album I tried from them, the Green Album, I didn't really like. Still, this is half the price, so I downloaded it anyway :p

The old saying "If it sounds too good to be true than it probably is" would most likely ring true in this case, you might be able to have problem free dealings with BlueHost and be very happy with them however in order to offer such good deals hosts need to oversell their servers in the hope that not many if any of their customers use all of what they are offered, that is what can often become problematic.
In other cases some hosts offer such good deals to lure you in but then deem your site to be too popular and force an upgrade on you.
I haven't had dealings with BlueHost before and some quick googling only turned up positive results even though they all sounded fabricated but at least there were no horror stories there. I wouldn't of course recommend switching from A Small Orange seeing how I'm a happy customer and a regular on their forums plus of course I like the whole Apple & Orange thing with the similarities between what they offer their customers. :D

Microsoft has announced that it has halted development on a universal version of VirtualPC.
Microsoft has claimed that to port VirtualPC to Intel would be much like making VirtualPC 1.0 all over again.
Funny how the folks at EMC (VMWare) didn't seem to think so...

Freaking awesome. One of my favorite Mac sites does a redesign. XHTML and CSS too. I'm all for the standards compliance. I'm speechless.

I still don't see anything too great that every user needs. The parental controls are looking really nice, especially limiting hours on school nights etc. I'm hoping some super-secret features will really make me jump for it next March.
