Arn,
I found an error. When you click on the links such as community discussion all (http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php3?forumid=20) you get a 404 error. Just to let you know...(if you already don't know about it) It's the same for the article discussion too. Not the other two.

I plan to use bootcamp to install windows 7 in my mac to be able to use 3ds max for 3d rendering. I know bootcamp will provide better performance compared to parellel because it runs windows natively.
my question is, compared to a pc with about the same configuration as the mac, can bootcamp provide the same performance when using 3ds max? or will it still slightly decrease the performance since it is windows running on mac and not pc?

How many people are there now?
More are staying the night than did the first night.

Myself and a couple of others had this problem recently; my fix was to turn Bluetooth on/off using Bluetooth File Exchange (have a look at this thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=161150)).

I have run across a couple of Think Different posters for sale in a local consignment shop and I am trying to determine if they are fakes and hoping someone can help me with this.
The first one is of Picasso but it is not the one I have seen in the past with the striped shirt. Here is a link to an image of the one I found: http://myoldmac.net/Sellpicts/think-picts/Think-Picasso.jpg
It is one of the 20"x28" ones which I have seen a few people say those are fakes while others are saying they were done in Europe.
The other one is a 24"x36" Gandi poster. The one thing that makes me question it is the fact that it has a Copyright line on it. Those that I have seen online don't seem to have that line. (The above Picasso one I saw also has the Copyright line on it.)
Any thoughts or suggestions on these? Thanks for the help.

didn't apple officially say that intel processors would be out in the summer of 2005?
At the 2005 WWDC which took place in the Summer of 2005 Apple announced that they would be moving to Intel processors and that the transition would be complete in 2007. Obviously, they beat that time table by a wide margin.

"the new iPhone will be largely identical to the iPhone 4 in appearance"
Good. It's a beautiful design and still the best looking phone on the market. Don't mess with success.

It reminds me of the Zelda Power Bracelet. I'd be worried about damaging it.

I tied both and it's gave the same warning
Tried both? You've only posted one attempted solution. Please don't expect us to guess what the other one was. If you haven't already, I'd suggest reading through What Have You Tried (http://whathaveyoutried.com) and especially the kinder, gentler Getting Answers (http://www.mikeash.com/getting_answers.html).

We use something very similar for a site I 'm consulting on, if I understand correctly.
We take aerials with a Nikon D200 that has a GPS hooked into it on the aircraft, so every image has a GPS stamp in the EXIF.
Those images get loaded into an SQL database and a bunch of PHP scripts that match the images with a Tele-Atlas map - each location gets loaded up and given its own page depending on location - one main aerial image, a map with a crosshair showing the location, weather based on zip code.
This sounds like fun for iPhoto.

Funny, both Apple and Transitive claim that Transitive invented (http://www.transitive.com/customers/apple.htm) it.

Since I have very little Mac experience, I may be doing this wrong. After creating the OpenGL ES project, I went to Build Settings, scrolled to Compiler version, clicked and changed it from LLVM GCC 4.2 to GCC 4.2. There's no "ok" or "accept" button so I assume just selecting it will change the settings.
Anyway, after clicking the run button, It still crashed with this error:
http://pastebin.com/GrL71gpv
Note: It's too long so I had to use pastebin.

Nice to meet you today. Wow did I over estimate demand. Oh well, it was cool being first into the store.
Loving my iPad so far.

It is exactly the same. I even tried putting my iMac on the DMZ in my router to see whether a totally exposed machine helps, but not so.
You are running a Apple router and I am running a Linksys with the stock firmware. I will screw around a bit more in both my mac and the router and see whether I can sort something out and keep you guys posted.
Your settings match the Photos posted on page 1? PM me your ichat/AIM name.

I'm not overly keen on DRM stopping people doing what they like with stuff they've paid for.
Ah, but being the devil's advocate - When you purchase something containing DRM you are at that moment agreeing to the terms of that DRM'd file. So when you purchase from iTunes you're saying (generalized), "yes, I agree to only use this media in this particular manner, period."
