Something just occurred to me. People who happen upon this site from a Google search or following somebody else's link might not necessarily know what "Mac" means. I don't see the word "Macintosh" anywhere on the home page. Maybe the byline should be "Macintosh news and rumors you care about".
Same for MacBytes: "Macintosh News, Headings, and Links".
An aside: The Apple home page, hot news page, and hardware and software pages together use the word "Macintosh" only once! But people browsing Apple's site probably know what Mac stands for.

I've had this thing since December and after about a month of sort of using it I haven't really touched it since. I have Dance Central and its a great game, but to be honest, I just don't feel like dancing my ass off at the end of the day.
I have plans to buy more Kinect games and use the thing more, but lately, I haven't. You?

is it just a matter of creating it on the computer, finding a host and going from there/ what makes a good host/ I want to be able to sell and reach lots of people. I have such a good product!
There are heaps of good hosts out there, for example TJR Networks (http://www.tjrnetworks.com) and Myacen (http://www.myacen.com), but there are also some pretty dodgy ones who take people's money and disappear overnight. The key things you should look for in a good host is uptime, server load, how easy it is to contact tech support and how long they have been around for. I would suggest avoiding any host that has been around for less than six months and definitely avoid those with super low prices as well as those that claim to offer "unlimited" space and bandwidth.

I paid for and downloaded the .WAV-Version. I was kind of annoyed though that they don't offer a version in some lossless codec like ALAC or FLAC that has tagging capabilities. You shouldn't have to enter basic metadata yourself...
People are even arguing over (http://www.last.fm/music/Radiohead/_/Morning+Mr+Magpie/+shoutbox) whether it's supposed to say Mr Magpie or Mr. Magpie.
If they are charging more for the WAV, it better be 24bit resolution.
It's not.

You may have 18GB free HDD capacity, but Boot Camp needs the space it wants to partition in a continouos area, thus if you have 18GB free, the 10GB you want to partition might not be continouos enough for Boot Camp.
The only way to do this, would be to clone your existing Mac OS X installation onto an external HDD, then erasing the internal HDD while booted from Mac OS X on the external HDD and then cloning it all back.
Use CarbonCopyCloner (http://www.bombich.com) or SuperDuper (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/superduper/superduperdescription.html) to make a 1:1 copy.
How to format a new HDD to install Mac OS X or make a bootable copy onto (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12483448&postcount=22)
So what you're saying is: Clone my current Mac OS X 10.6 drive then boot Mac OS X from there? And while I'm booting off of my Mac OS X drive, then I install Boot Camp from there right?
Thanks for the info too. :D

So is it a Mac site?
All the pics and several links are for Mac-related stuff. If you're offering services for PC's as well, or computers in general, I'd make it look more PC-friendly.

I can help a bit. Plug the power cord into the Canon. Plug the mini USB into the Canon and full size USB into your Mac. Start iMovie. Turn the Canon on. Select playback mode on the Canon. Wait (things may take a while).
I'll take a look tonight and get back to you with more details.

Try resetting the system management controller first (smc).
Resetting SMC will not have any effect on a hardware problem. Did you even read the OP's post? Or did you read it and you simply have no idea what you're talking about?

Thanks all for your input. I concur with all points. I, as stated earlier, have dealt with Cubase for over 25 years. True, the functionality is directed towards professionals. I am utterly impressed with Garage Band and what it does. As one of the members stated, its your skills that determine how far it can be pushed....
I see the potential of incorporating ideas of both mediums after all a wave is a wave. With some tuning up and having the right lyrics / arrangement and adding a line here and there who knows. From what I understand (since the time I posted this message) there are a few professional artist who have actually recorded songs using "GB".
Recently I heard a members song on "Youtube" although the quality of the vocal should have been enhanced with a better microphone the member had a decent voice and the song was arranged very well.

This thread has something to do with taxes?
Do you know of any other way someone's wealth might be taken from them? Theft? Come on. Really.

I read arn's reason, but it's severely large and annoying, so much so it feels like nothing exists below the first article except adverts. It needs to be in a sideblock.

didn't apple officially say that intel processors would be out in the summer of 2005?
At the 2005 WWDC which took place in the Summer of 2005 Apple announced that they would be moving to Intel processors and that the transition would be complete in 2007. Obviously, they beat that time table by a wide margin.
