Yeh sure, if you want a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 on your 50" tv. Sweet. You show me any TV that does 2500x1600.
What exactly do you think people will be doing on a TV? Using CAD??! It's a fine resolution for movies, browsing, music etc.

Just a tip. If the RAM goes bad it will likely be only one of the two sticks. The MB/MBP can run on only one stick - which is actually one way to figure out which one went bad. I know because I got some bad RAM from OWC and they had me run my MBP with one, then the other, to help troubleshoot the problem.

He should discuss detailed and undisclosed information about Leopard on his website and to the media while he is at it.
No, that would be breaking an NDA. The details of Fair Play are not under NDA. Not many of us signed an agreement with Apple so we are free to look inside a music file and tell the world what we see inside but no so with Leopard if there is an agrement not to.
BTW the developer's pre-release of Leopard contains no secrets. Anyone can get a copy and use it if they pay a fee to become a developer.

I totally agree with you. haha... I hope it does discourage some from lining up.
I agree with that. Of course, I do hope that people who weren't able to reserve and/or pre-order due to AT&T issues are able to get their i4 ASAP.

Isn't the graph misleading? Is it 400 thousand units or 400 million units?
ya, it's supposed to be thousands of units and dollars.

Website for that tuner/specs on it? Interested for a MCE box if you happen to sell it. ;)

I print to an Epson SC 777 with no driver installed all the time. I just clicked that icon with the printer and the ?, and clicked Add. Works fine.

Well in case you haven't noticed, Kanye West's performance has been removed from the webcast version of Apple Music Event.
LOL...I was wondering why it ended so abruptly. I can't say I couldn't see this coming

First of all, you should probably get a BSE, or StealthGuard instead of a IS. Same thing, except you have to make your own solution. And no sgueegee. But it's worth it. I would recommend something from Switcheasy for your case, however, they have only came out with one thing.

It depends on how you're running the vm, full screen, coherence, etc. From full screen you hit control+option and click on the devices menu at the top then scroll down to CD/DVD1, that'll open a menu to the side and click on default CD/DVD. That will connect the disc drive to the vm, just remember to disconnect it when you're done.
Ahh great that worked thanks :D

This is very helpful, thank you Consultant.
I don't know which CDs I do or don't have, and my "Due to space limitations" can both be elaborated upon and explained in the same response (Thanks for calling me out on it btw):
I ripped EVERYTHING we had into iTunes back in 2002/3/4/whenever, for a Christmas gift iPod. The recipient of same decided she did not want certain music, even entire CDs and two entire genres, so she deleted them out of iTunes. Partly because she didn't like the music, partly because we didn't know that this would be a permanent platform paradigm shift, and partly because we didn't know how much room we would need for future expansion.
That is why I don't know what is in the iTunes Library exactly, and that is why I didn't elaborate on the "Space limitations" portion of my post.
I will use your advice to better manage my Library, I appreciate you taking the time to respond- you're the only one that has so far. :p

I'm just hoping they at least give us the OPTION to download HD movies soon (not for this product obviously, but just in general). Just like they have options for watching trailers, we should be able to download the HD version of a movie if we want to/our bandwidth can allow it. I'd actually buy movies of iTunes if this was the case!
I can only assume that we will see the current video resolution (which was only offered just recently) being offered for quite a while. We heard the same complaint with audio since they started offering music downloads without much, if any, increase in quality from Apple (maybe better compression algorithms but I don't think bigger files because of higher bit rates).
I do believe that the resolution that they sell on iTunes (640x480) hints towards what the resolution of this 'video' iPod will be. I'm sure that this decision was made with this device in mind.
Does anybody know what size screen this resolution would imply? How small can/should technology allow a 640x480 screen be?

I'll tell you what I've told everybody, this is not an AT&T problem. I have the Atrix and I have NEVER dropped a call in Saint Louis. My friend has the iPhone 4 and another has the 3GS in Saint Louis and they CONSTANTLY cannot connect Call Failed or drop calls.
It's the iPhone man.
Living outside of the US it's funny as the dropped call thing always seems to affect American users the most yet people leap to the conclusion it is a problem with the phone. I have owned the original iPhone, 3G and iPhone 4 in the family and no issues here in the UK with dropped calls on any of the phones.
Obviously had a few dropped calls over the years but it is not that frequent. I did notice that the iPhone had worse reception in very low signal areas (all Models) compared to my Dad's old Nokia which has a small external transmitter but then again that Nokia beats every smart phone I have ever seen for reception.
Although I don't think any device with an internal antenna is going to out perform one with an external antenna but taking the rest of the world into account AT&T are definitely a factor in the dropped calls as they seem to be way more frequent in the USA on AT&T than other service providers around the world.

Heres the thing the new wireless spectrum actually is WiMax, to those who don't know what WiMax is, pretty much some people say its WIFI on steroids. Also the fact that if Tmobile is talking to apple it may have to do not only with Iphones but laptops. Wimax works in a way that you can have broadband connections up to 75mbps. So if Tmobile is talking to Apple they are probably going to design a chip or something so that people who buy apple then sign on to Tmobile and will have access to the internet with extremely high speeds anywhere in the US. :) What Tmobile is doing has more to do with Laptops than it would with Phones. Think of it on WiMax you can have IPTV and VOIP running and still surf the net. Not only that Intel and Motorola invested over 1 billion into Clearwire, INTEL IS designing new chips for WIMAX. I dont think this has to do with the Iphones.

Yes.
Yes, as long as it's a real CD and not one of those wacky not-really-CD things with bizarre copy protect schemes. Even most of those can be brought into an iPod, though.
Thanks.

G'day Guys,
I have been having a look around for a solution to my slow network problem, with no luck. Hopefully somebody here can help me.
I have 2 mac pro systems I use for audio and video work. They are on the company network which seems to be 10/100 and a little slow. When I am transferring large files between the two machines (which are on opposite sides of the room) it takes forever because the speed is limited to 100Base-T and not 1000 that the computers can work at. This is no good. I need speed. Can I run a private network on the Ethernet 2 sockets for transferring data between the 2 computers? How can I set it up so that these computers will always choose this private network for transferring data? Will this work when transferring data for Qmaster jobs?
As no other computers will need to be on the network, I assume it is as simple as plugging the two computers together with an Ethernet cable and making sure they can see each other. The hard part is making sure they always use this network and not the company network.
Ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Chris

It trickle charges after it fully charges. You could leave it plugged in 24/7 and it would be fine.
