I sold my iPhone 3GS in October and got a blackberry, but now I want to go back to the iPhone.
I'm not sure if I should keep my blackberry until a major iPhone upgrade, buy an iPhone 4 now, wait until June to see if a new iPhone is coming out around then, or wait until September if that's when the iPhone is coming out and see what's new.

I agree with everything Talmy has said apart from the resolution. It isnt low resolution. In comparison to a 27" ACD, or 27" Dell Ultrasharp, yeh ok then its low. but Full HD resolution is good enough for you uses. I know an entire Design Company using AutoCAD and Alias, there isnt a single monitor there with better resolution than Full HD because they dont need it!!
For that price its pretty good!!

didn't get a user manual!
If you bought a new or reconditioned machine, you would have received one. Failing that, you can download one from the Apple website.

I wonder if users who have both PPC and Intel Macs will have to buy seperate copies of Leopard rather than just multiple license packs...

That is NOT how it works in Germany!!
If you got your iPhone 4 for 1 Euro you are paying 89,96 Euro MONTHLY, which equals about 130 US-Dollars ---->
See this link:
http://www.t-mobile.de/iphone/tarife/0,18383,22271-_,00.html
And after you got your iPhone 4 you can NOT unlock it for 99 Euros, T-Mobile Germany specifically excludes the iPhone 4 from this offer. All other T-Mobile Phones you can unlock, not the iPhone 4. --->
huh? i got my iphone 4 at tmobile and got it unlocked for 100 after explaining to them that i'll be uproad for some time and need to use a foreign sim. was no prob at all. u cant expect someone to use their sim in australia for example. ud be broke after usin the net for 5 mins ^^

Hello there, thanks for the answer!
I wasn't clear about that but I do want to sell the mini, not just the license! I'll sell the whole package at once.
I guess it will be easier?

I went to the Apple Store today to get my iPhone 4 replaced due to a yellow screen issue. I showed it to a employee at the Genius Bar. I had a password set and forgot to unlock it for her. The lady didn't ask me for my password, she just simply typed in a 4 digit number. The number went "95??" I didn't see the last two digits. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Anyone want to try and figure out what the passcode is

Although the Flurry article spins this as being positive for ios/android gaming, I'm not really sure that the numbers support that interpretation. Last year, they included only iphones and ipod touches in their data and found that they had 5% of the market. This year, they added iPads, android smartphones, and android tablets (huge market that...), and found that the numbers only went up to 8%. I don't really find that to be very impressive.
Meanwhile, consoles, all of which are ~5 years old, increased their market share from 71% to 76%. In other words, consoles' market share increased almost twice as much smartphone/tablets' did, even though the ios/android data now includes a lot of devices that weren't counted previously.
And - to reiterate what a lot of other posters have said - touchscreen gaming is can be excellent for puzzle-type games, such as angry birds. It does a good job with accelerometer based games, such as doodle jump. But it is kludgy and inferior for most other type of games, including FPS games, and it will remain so until there is some sort of standardized controller with actual buttons and joystick(s).

I would really like to see a cooperation between T-Mobile and Apple, since T-Mobile is one of the biggest net providers in Germany.

iFixit.com carries them and ships to the UK. It also is cheaper than eBay which is rare for proprietary Apple parts.
However, given the obscene prices of Motherboards. It would likely be cheaper to buy a working 2006 Macbook, swap out the hard drive and RAM if needed and sell your current unit as is for parts only on eBay with a good description of the problem and pictures.
Heck it would most likely be cheaper to do the above and upgrade to a Lion compatible Late 2006 Core 2 Duo Macbook. Perhaps even move up to a Santa Rosa or Penryn Macbook. You'd be shocked as to what a defective Macbook will fetch on eBay.

Hi,
This is my first post. I was wondering if anyone knows how to set the metronome in Logic Pro to only click during part of a recording. I would like it to click while recording up to a point and then continue recording but stop clicking. I have played around with the count-in feature and the pre-roll, but have not had much success achieving what I describe above. Thanks,
-m

just for the record, this link has been submitted around 10 times now, but I've been on the whole unimpressed by the desktops so far. Maybe by offering the link and getting some new blood in there, it will liven up.
Or you go visit my website @ http://homepage.mac.com/nuber

What I find interesting is how Arn comes so much later, considering he basically started the site.
I think his handle is relatively new, though he has been present from the Beginning (capitalization for special effect).

If it's an apartment complex there's a good chance you won't have much of a choice when it comes to picking a provider. You're likely going to be in a situation where the apartment management has a deal with one provider and you pick whatever plan you feel like paying for.
Or make a deal with your neighbors and share their wireless network.

This has not really been the case, though. When VHS was replaced by DVD, you didn't get the new media for free. Being locked into a particular platform occurs all the time--toner cartridges for printers aren't standardized, for example. I can't use Comcast's on demand to buy programs, then switch to DirecTV and have them transferred. When I buy the latest video game, it doesn't come packaged with PS2, PC, Mac, and XBOX versions.
See the theme? If you choose a limited hardware platform, you must accept the constraints of that platform. CDs are universal because the standard was universal (Sony, Philips, etc. formed a consortium from the get-go)--multiple manufacturers make CD players. Here, the content is the same but the packaging is different--cassette, CD, M4A. Only Apple makes M4A players.
By purchasing a song from iTunes, you are receiving the file with limitations. The reason for the price is bundling. If you want a product with no restrictions, which you want to use to the fullest extent of fair use (or beyond, if you so choose), you have to look elsewhere. You're not being denied fair use when you rent a movie on VHS for $2 when the DVD rental is $4...and you don't get to rent the VHS, then make a DVD just to save $2. Likewise, you're not paying for an unrestricted copy of the song on iTunes, and you aren't entitled to treat it as such using "fair use" as an excuse.
If you want unencumbered music, pay for the CD. If you want instant gratification and a lower price, then be an adult and accept the DRM. The option you want is out there and legally available--it's just that CDs are a "bad value." Likewise, iTunes tracks are probably a "bad value" to many people who think 99 cents should entitle them to DRM-free files. Should DRMed digital files be cheaper? I think so. But that's no excuse to go beyond the clear and publicized terms of my payment.
Nobody wants to buy things twice, but that's no excuse. I have piles of spare tools that fit cars I no longer own; toner cartridges for printers I no longer own; memory cards for cameras I no longer own; and floppy disks for computers I no longer own. Each time I switch companies, I have to deal with the consequences of my prior purchases.
Bravo Bravo Bravo my friend!;)

I'd like the ability to remove one of the voice at a point in time.
iMovie doesn't show the audio as separate tracks, so you can't do it.
