Same thing on iPhone 4 on Verizon Wireless.
What I can say is I can confirm it worked post-update without an issue, and it's definitely a today thing (at least for me).
The best was when I called Sirius|XM they gave me the phone # to Apple Support...
As someone who has helped run a Call Center, Sirius|XM's customer service is just so blatantly poorly outsourced it's beyond humor.

how is it wrong though? The logic board fits in perfectly with the bottom housing case that I bought...as well the cd and hard drive..
As well what do I do about the heat sink problem?...the glue on the top of cpu the and bottom of the heat sink is coming off ( SEE ATTACHED PICTURES ) ...how to I glue it back on?... Any recommended tools and where to buy em on ebay? thank you.
The heatsink is attached to the bottomcase by 4 screws - IT IS NOT GLUED in place - without the screws you cannot clamp the heatsink to the processor and it will overheat.
The kernel panic may or may not have anything to do with the heatsink - usually it is ram but may be a faulty logicboard - try starting up in verbose or single-user mode (hold down Command and s) and see what errors you get.

Looks like it's coming in Spring in 3D as well for those who have the appropriate kind of TV sitting at home. (Not me...)
Not much of a shocker at this point, but it's nice to finally have confirmation that it's coming! :)

I read through all of it. I saw some suggestions, but those didn't work. One guy said he figured it out, but didn't mention what he did to fix it.

Also on G3's don't you have to install Mac OS X within the first partition (within the first 8gb)?
The first 8 GiB. The first 7.4 GB to make it safe... (8 GiB DOES NOT EQUAL 8 GB!!)

So, what ever happened to the local snapshots feature?
It still exists, but I don't know if there is a preference pane for it. I don't know how to use it.

As long as your mac and ipad are on the same network and homesharing is enabled, then yes you will get access to everything on your itunes library on the mac without needing to copy (sync) it to your ipad.

I believe I saw an EFI update that addressed issues with fans, check the apple support site, it may be what you need.

Haha, yeah it could! I'm running my girlfriend's Dual 2.0GHz G5 on it right now. I'd use my PowerBook but it's only hooked up online every once in a while.

Because Panther doesn't have direct Turkish support, I installed a "support pack" that the Apple IMC Turkey has published. After that, when I try to start Entourage, some of the writings has gone mad and they are replaced with some meaningless writing crap.. I guess that support pack has done something to my entourage font settings but how can I undo it???
by the way, I installed the pack on my former 12"PB months before and there was no problems, and I need that pack for the additional Turkish characters..It is not nice to double-post.

first I posted on the panther part of the forum and then I scrolled down and see the software discussion only part.. nothing to bother you!!...
no one answered anyways.. I managed to solve it by myself! There is no excuse for double-posting.

The standard resolution for DVD is 720 x 576 pixels, so 800x600 should do the trick.
For myself, when I doubt the quality of a movie or whatever I want to play on a TV/DVD set, I burn the files on a DVD-RW first. In most cases the quality is better on TV than it seems on my computerscreen. Sure the fact my monitor has higher resolution than my TV and the distance from what you watch your TV (lots more than from where you look at my monitor) will play a role.
Good luck

If it was any other store I would say no but Apple are famously accommodating (and probably more so if you've just spent thousands on a Mac Pro).
Then again, if you can afford said thousands, just buy the bluetooth keyboard separately and keep the wired as a spare!
I hope they are :)
That is not a bad idea.. but i'm planning to spend the left over $300 on some extra ram :D
If they aren't accommodating then i might just have to cancel my purchase ;)

I guess I should have searched first, but it didn't occur to me that anyone else would have proposed something this otw. :o
Maybe when I actually get my backwards compatible Xbox 360 and PS3, I'll be more willing to throw caution to the wind and give this a go. For now, I'll leave it for braver folk than I.

I think part of the huge markup on the BSE skins and Zagg skins, and every other companies skins are out there, takes into account loss due to delivery. The Post Office is notorious for having poor delivery reliability or damages materials en route, so these companies just absorb that into their pricing.
It makes sense, I mean, really how much does it cost to mass produce these skins? They're charging anywhere from $20 - $40, for materials that cost maybe $3-$4 to mass produce.
Don't get me wrong, I really like my BSE skin, and think it's worth the price, but you should expect good customer service with such a huge markup.
I would say you're spot on with that estimate since they all offer "lifetime warranties" that you conveniently have to spend 3 or 4 bucks to get :)

Well it's booting fine without the battery and the board (whatever it is) that goes with the battery... just doesn't hold clock obviously.

Just wait until they add Thunderbolt to the design. I know more than one person who never even looked at the MBA for its lack of a high speed port.
Yeah, Thunderbolt and Sandy Bridge and I am in.
